I Like To Think I’m Clever

I like to think I’m clever
full of wonder to be shared
I could explain the world to you
if anybody cared
I like to think I am artistic
and creative to a fault
But still aware that I am
from-the-Earth pure salt
I like to think I am intriguing,
worthy of mystique -
Imagine being discussed
in terms of being unique
I like to think I've got it all to come,
a lazy genius
To be told I'm one of those
who make up for the rest of us

I like to think I'm clever
even though I know I'm not
I like to think I'm wise
even though I know I'm not
I like to think I'm wonderful
even though I know I'm not

I'm boring stupid dull thick pretentious and self obsessed
But none to a level that may be considered of any interest
